Savannah Richey

Costume Technician

Savannah is a costume technician who is interested in recreating historical techniques on a theatre timeline and budget, and advocating for accessibility in live theatre, not only for audiences, but also for technicians and performers. Professionally, she has worked at Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Barter Theatre, the Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre, and the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center. At Webster University’s Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts she draped on The Drowning Girls, A Bright Room Called Day, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Our Town, Spitfire Grill, and Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, and she did embroidery work on Ride the Cyclone. In her free time, Savannah can be found fostering animals, tending to her sourdough starter, learning Irish and participating in traditional dance events. She is excited to continue her professional journey and plans to use her dual citizenship to work in theaters around the world.
